Milbrandt Vineyards Legacy 2006 Sundance Chardonnay, Washington State
Chardonnay is the most widely planted variety in the United States. It's also number one in acreage in Washington State, edging out Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
While many New World renditions are fat, rich, buttery and unctuous, Washington State Chardonnays tend to be crisp, structured, steely and refreshing.
Our 2006 Sundance Chardonnay is ripe and tropical with broad aromas of peach, pineapple and banana. The palate is rich but not cumbersome. The flavors are lush and balanced with a subtle touch of vanilla from time spent in oak.
